Investigator Warren Callais Elected President of Louisiana District Attorney Association Investigator Board

The Lafourche Parish District Attorney’s Office is proud to announce that Investigator Warren Callais has been elected by a group of his peers to serve as President of the Louisiana District Attorney Association (LDAA) Investigator Board.

Callais, a United States Marine Corps veteran, brings a wealth of experience and leadership to his new role. After serving his country honorably in the Marines, he continued his commitment to public service through his work in law enforcement at the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office and now here at the Lafourche Parish District Attorney’s Office. In his role as President, Callais will represent investigative professionals from District Attorney offices across Louisiana, working to enhance training, strengthen statewide collaboration, and promote best practices in criminal investigations.

“Warren’s professionalism, leadership, and commitment to justice have long been an asset to our office,” said Lafourche Parish District Attorney Kristine Russell, who just finished her year-long term as President of the Louisiana District Attorney Association. “We are confident he will serve the LDAA Investigator Board with the same dedication he demonstrates here in Lafourche Parish.”

The Louisiana District Attorney Association supports the work of prosecutors, investigators, and victim assistance staff across the state through training, advocacy, and resource development. The Investigator Board plays a vital role in ensuring that investigative staff receive specialized training and remain connected with law enforcement partners across Louisiana.

Callais’s term as President will begin immediately and run through the 2025–2026 year.
